Overview

Louisiana Conservation Corps (LaCC) is looking for dedicated young adults to serve a 6 month term of service. No prior experience is required. LaCC provides our members with hands-on opportunities, extensive training in conservation and disaster response, and the freedom to develop both personally and professionally.

Individuals on our Field Crew love doing hard work in the outdoors. They show true enthusiasm for natural resource protection. Field crews will work five and ten day hitches. While on hitch, members will camp and live together.

Field Crew Members: Age 18-24

Term: September 10th, 2018 – March 1st, 2019 (Full Time)

Program Benefits: Education award upon successful completion of service ($2,907), Stipend ($1219 per month), Training (S212, WFA, CPR, etc.) Health Coverage, and Loan Deferment.

*Note: Housing is not provided. We ask that our members live in Baton Rouge Area or that they re-locate to the Baton Rouge Area.
